Supreet K. Singh is an award-winning writer, filmmaker and social entrepreneur whose work sits at the intersection of cinema, human psychology and social change.

After more than fifteen years in corporate leadership in India and internationally, including with the United Breweries Group, Kingfisher Airlines and Grover Zampa Wines, she increasingly turned towards storytelling and social impact, creating work inspired by lived realities that challenges social stigmas, explores the complexity of human behaviour and celebrates resilience.

As Co-Founder & CEO of Red Dot Foundation, an internationally recognised organisation working towards gender equity, safety and justice, and Co-Founder of Beyond Black, a social enterprise using art for social good, Supreet has spent more than a decade working closely with questions of violence, discrimination, gender & resilience.

These experiences have profoundly shaped her understanding of human behaviour and inform her cinematic voice and instinct for emotionally complex stories rooted in lived realities.

A trained counsellor & Yoga Acharya, she brings an understanding of the human psyche together with her experience as a gender advocate to create emotionally layered characters and stories that resonate across cultures.

Her directorial debut, Bouddi, represented India at the French International Film Festival, received Best Director and Best Film recognition, and was officially selected at more than seventeen Indian and international film festivals. Her short film Nirbhaya Mai Asifa Mai subsequently received Best Director recognition.

Beyond narrative cinema, Supreet has directed commercial films for leading brands, including Amul, and her creative collaborations have earned international recognition. Bioscope Stories Vs Bollywood, created with Ogilvy & Mather Singapore, was nominated for the Glass: The Lion for Change at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. More recently, Infinite Saree, created with Klick Health, received global acclaim, winning eight Clio Awards, including the Grand Clio for Women's Health, and a Cannes Lions Silver.

A published author, her poetry collection Wine | Love | Tango explores themes of love, loss and identity, while her She Is series, celebrates extraordinary women in science, chemistry & environmental leadership whose stories have often remained invisible.

Her Journey has been captured here and her Podcasts are available on Saavn, Spotify,

HubHopper and Amazon.

Today, Supreet is bringing together her worlds of cinema, human behaviour and social change to tell stories that cross borders, challenge established narratives and make visible lives and experiences too often left unseen.
